Kenyan originals

Kenyan originals is a collection reserved for typefaces designed by Kenyan creators, published with clear credit and a clear licence. No family has been published yet. The first ones will come from designers who join the programme.

Who it is for

Type designers, lettering artists and graphic designers in Kenya with an original typeface, finished or in progress.

What we look for

• Original work that you own or have the right to publish.
• Support for English and Kiswahili, and ideally other Kenyan languages.
• A licence you choose, open-source or commercial, stated with the release.

What you get

• A family page with live previews, credit and a designer profile.
• Downloads with your licence and source details included.
• Help reviewing character coverage for Kenyan languages.
